But as of late the term gridiot or gridiots also refers to a person or persons that play the video game racedriver GRID created by codemasters and has become one of the most popular racing video games ever created. A gritiot of this nature would be defined as someone who for one reason or another will do things in online race events that ruin the experience for the rest of the players such as banging into or pushing other racers into walls or obstacles in an effort to gain the advantage. A gridiot will sometimes travel in the reverse direction on a race track attempting to smash into other racers, Included is DIRTBAGS for DIRT2.
